Update – Oct. 22, 2015

A new version of Office 2013 Click-to-Run – 15.0.4763.1003 – is now available. This version addresses a problem that may occur when synchronizing files in OneDrive for Business. Users may see repeated prompts to enter their credentials, but entering them will not result in a successful sync.

An update for the MSI-based version of Office 2013 is also available for the same issue. Go to KB 2986219 to install the update.

Update – Feb. 17, 2016

A new version of Office 2013 Click-to-Run – 15.0.4797.1003 – is now available. This version fixes a problem that may cause Office apps, such as Word, Excel, or Outlook to freeze or perform very slowly when you scroll the window or copy/paste text.

If you have the MSI-based version of Office 2013, you can fix this same issue by uninstalling KB 3114717 following the instructions at the bottom of the KB article.

Update – March 9, 2016

KB 3085515 is no longer available because it may prevent Access 2010 from opening VB-enabled apps and wizards. The workaround is to uninstall this update. See the Access Support Team blog for more details.

We want to let you know about an important change coming to the release schedule for Office updates so that you can plan accordingly. Until now, both security and non-security updates have been released on the second Tuesday of each month. Starting in April, the non-security updates will be released in Microsoft Update and the Windows Server Update Service (WSUS) on the first Tuesday of the month, which is April 5 in this case. This will include all updates that have the Critical or Definition classification. Updates with the Security classification will continue to release on second Tuesday as usual.

This change applies only to the MSI version of Office. Office Click-To-Run (C2R) will release on second Tuesday.

Non-security updates (those with the Critical or Definition update classification) will be available on the Download Center on August 2 and on Microsoft Update/WSUS on August 16.

This change will only be in effect for August. After that, we’ll resume the normal first Tuesday monthly release for non-security updates on both the Download Center and MU/WSUS.
